Modern professional working environment

My story & approach

Across industry, higher education, and entrepreneurship, I have focused on connecting ideas to implementation. My interests include artificial intelligence, design science research, emerging technologies, and digital transformation.

Today I bring that perspective to university teaching, applied research, and the ventures I founded.

Experience & perspective

Career & philosophy

My work spans manufacturing operations, enterprise technology, global leadership, and consulting. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping organizations turn complex challenges into practical results.

“Leadership carries responsibility for both the results we deliver and the people we serve.”

Manufacturing & technology

My experience began at Chrysler and grew through Manufacturing IT roles at Hyundai, Tyson Foods, Coca-Cola, B. Braun, and SOITEC.

Consulting & global leadership

I expanded into solution architecture and consulting at Caltrol and Cognizant. At Genentech / Roche, I led global Manufacturing IT teams, the Global Solutions Center, and major biologics technology programs. I later headed the U.S. Production IT practice at NNIT.

Independent practice

Today, through J|COM Consulting & IT Services, I advise clients on Manufacturing IT, MES/MOMS, and digital transformation. Engagements include Pratt & Whitney, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Abbott Laboratories. My J|COM Innovation Design Lab (J|CIDL) connects applied research with practical innovation.
